Spheric Research has assembled a database of 174 companies that make products and that specifically serve the land-based aquaculture industry. Anecdotally, we know that many companies have recently targeted land-based aquaculture, coming from other industries like oil and gas.
Norway leads the list of suppliers, with 34 companies. Denmark, which is credited as the birthplace of the modern recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS) industry, comes second.
Among categories, systems integrators lead with 35 entries.
